The Atlantic salmon (or European Salmon) lives in the northern Atlantic Ocean. The largest specimens can reach 1m in length and 36kg in weight. Salmon is one of the most popular fish for human consumption. Norwegian fisheries make huge revenues from salmon farming.

We have our own filleting department and portion cutter machine. We can deliver both whole salmon as well as salmon fillets to our clients on a daily basis. On request, we can customise portions to your exact specifications using the newest I-cutter portion slicing technology. Possible cuts include A-trim, B-trim, C-trim, D-trim and E-trim. We source our whole salmon from Norway, Scotland and Ireland. You can also order Label Rouge salmon from Scotland and organic salmon from Ireland.


Until the 19th century, you could still find salmon in the Low Countries. The last accounts of salmon found in the Schelde date from 1842.


Salmon can be used in a wide range of culinary preparations (grilling, steaming, pan-frying, etc). It is important to have salmon that is fresh. You can do do no wrong with a beautiful fresh salmon fillet!
